Representative of the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) position as the largest traded organization in America’s oil and natural gas industry, designers carefully crafted a fully integrated, showcase space in Houston, TX that combines petroleum based products, locally sourced materials and a unique story, to reflect the company’s brand and mission to API’s employees, members, and visiting shareholders.
Pulling inspiration from the oil extraction process in the Texas Region, specifically in the Permian Basin, designers developed a story that leads visitors through API’s space, starting at the landscape of the oil rig and breaking down to the deeper layers of the earth’s surface where petroleum is drawn out from beneath the ground.
