At FORM, we believe that relationships should be as open and free as the workplace environments we design. By putting people first, we promise to understand and address each client’s unique needs, delivering quality work rooted in quality people.

Same Team, Start-to-Finish.

Unlike most firms, we are not segmented into studios because we believe, much like people, designs can learn from one another. This also ensures our clients receive a seamless experience. Each project has the same, Principal-led team from start-to-finish. Our entire firm meets once a week to discuss projects and concepts; this gives projects the added advantage of receiving constructive criticism from everyone, ranging from innovative college grads to our experienced and trusty code gurus.

Innovation Encouraged.

We create an environment that fosters creativity. Our team is encouraged to join professional organizations and pursue professional certifications for advancing their career. Lunch-n-Learns, guest speakers, and design charettes happen monthly in an effort to continually sharpen skills (and imaginations) within our office.

Warm with FORM.

Making meals for the homeless, visiting colleagues with our mobile espresso bar, or even spending extra time with family with our unlimited time off policy, since inception in 2003, people have always been at the heart of our brand. Whether it is our team, clients, or community, FORM makes an effort to reach out and make a difference by promoting a feeling of “warmth” all year long. The idea is simple – when we put our talent and hearts together, we can make meaningful change with and without construction documents.

Innovative - Each project is an opportunity to re-imagine design; embrace and drive change
Dynamic - Encourage one-another; bring energy, ideas, and a positive attitude
Authentic - Build open and honest relationships, be humble and remain genuine
Audacious - Stay nimble, take risks and be open to constructive feedback

Before joining FORM, we all came from varying backgrounds and education. Needless to say, we take March Madness very seriously around here (jury’s still out on whether or not paper or electronic brackets are best). In keeping with this spirit, we drafted our own internal teams, created brackets, and worked collectively to determine the words that best describe FORM. After a tough battle, ‘innovative’ became our champion.

Meanings were attached to the team’s favorite words and our core values were established.

“In my time with FORM, I have found the company to be filled with incredibly intelligent, creative and kind people. Our work environment is flexible, collaborative and truthfully supports work-life balance. FORM not only cares about their employees, but they also care about the communities we serve which was an important factor in choosing to come work here. I truly enjoy being part of the FORM family.”

Angela Rivera
Operations Coordinator

“What I love most about working at Form is the work-life balance. FORM is incredibly flexible and helps me maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle while completing my work at the times of day that I am the most productive.”

Haley Zimmerman
Project Designer

“It’s such fun to come to work every day to watch insanely talented, collaborative and motivated people create inspiring work environments for others. I’m so proud of the FORM team, especially how they play hard and work harder. It’s a privilege to support such an amazing team!”

Judy Shaffer

“I have never worked for a company that places such a high emphasis on my professional goals and personal life as much as FORM does. They give you the space to figure out how you can best contribute to the company and the resources to fill that role. I feel there is a holistic appreciation for FORM employees that recognizes each person as an individual and as a part of the team.”

Kimberly Davis
Senior Marketing Coordinator

“It’s such an overused phrase but it really is “all about the people” that makes FORM an enjoyable place to work. Everyone benefits from the wealth of knowledge and experience that’s freely shared and it shows in the mutual respect and admiration we have for one another when it comes to professional and personal relationships, collaboration and problem-solving.”

MinJae Chong
Associate Principal

“What I like most about FORM is the people! Every designer is a rockstar and there isn’t a person on our team that I don’t look up to. The way we collaborate sets us apart, but what is truly unique is that we personally care about one another.”

Nicholas Saylor
